On September 12, the CIAEA Leadership had a working session with Sedbergh Vietnam to meet the board of management, tour the facilities, and listen to students' academic aspirations, thereby consulting on and designing international academic solutions for the Board of Management of Sedbergh Vietnam International Bilingual School.
Attending the working session, on behalf of CIAEA, was Mr. Kevin Qiao – Chairman and Founder of the Cambridge International Academic Exchange Alliance (CIAEA). Welcoming the delegation, on behalf of Sedbergh Vietnam's Board of Management, were Mr. Joseph Nicholas Burke – Vice Principal of International Programs, and Ms. Luong Thu Giang – Vice Principal of Sedbergh Vietnam.
Positioned as an architect and designer of in-depth educational solutions, Mr. Kevin Chau shared practical insights from his extensive international educational management experience, while simultaneously analyzing students' needs and development orientations with the Sedbergh Board of Management. Both sides agreed to adopt the "Student-centered" philosophy as a guiding principle to design personalized training pathways, helping students develop a solid three-pillar foundation: Academics, Global Skills, and Life Experiences.
The core of the academic solutions that CIAEA brings to Sedbergh Vietnam focuses on two strategic spearheads:
First, designing Short-term Study & Immersion Programs. These programs are directly integrated into the school's curriculum to maximize independent research thinking, enhance practical foreign language skills, and help students familiarize themselves with international lecture hall environments early on, thereby increasing their enthusiasm and learning efficiency within their current high school program.
Second, expanding progression opportunities and pathways into top-tier universities globally. To solve the post-high school orientation challenge, CIAEA provides solutions for academic profile preparation, strategic international university admissions counseling, and connection to valuable scholarship sources. This ensures that Sedbergh students not only possess outstanding, experience-rich personal profiles but can also easily reach their dream universities in the UK, the US, Australia, or Canada.
Also within the framework of the working session, Mr. Kevin Qiao toured the campus and academic facilities, gaining a deeper understanding of the practical teaching curriculum at Sedbergh. Highly appreciating the inspiring learning space and the school's open educational orientation, Mr. Kevin expressed his confidence in the development potential of Sedbergh students when given access to appropriate supplementary training solutions. Representatives of the Sedbergh Vietnam Board of Management also highly valued the professional capabilities and the educational design projects being implemented by CIAEA, viewing this as a strategic solution to help the school continue making breakthroughs in training quality and outcome commitments.
